**Exciting Opportunity: peer for Adults with Mental Illness ($25-$35/hr)**
Are you passionate about empowering individuals with Mental Illness to lead independent lives in their communities? We offer a rewarding career as a peer Case Manager, with a competitive hourly rate of $25 to $35 for a 40-hour week, based on experience and other lawful considerations.
**Role Summary:**
- Act as a primary support and case manager for Adults with Mental Illness with a focus on helping the community with a partner as license therapist to serve the community.
- you will be assisting the licensed therapist to reach out to clients with crisis intervention and helping to get them hospitalized and provide assistance, support and resources in achieving independent living in their chosen communities.

**Essential Responsibilities:**
- Advocate for clients to secure housing, healthcare benefits, and other entitlements.
- Provide services in various settings, including homes, hospitals, jails, schools, or community locations.
- Engage in coaching, counseling, mentoring, and providing linkage to community resources.
- Implement outreach strategies and practice motivational interviewing and harm reduction techniques.
- Support community integration and employment objectives.
- Offer crisis intervention and participate in staff and community meetings.
- Maintain compliance with documentation and program standards.
**Position Requirements:**
- High school diploma or GED, with 3 years’ experience in psychosocial rehab services (preferred).
- Knowledge of community resources and team-oriented service approach.
- Valid CPR certification and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Must possess a clean record without any criminal or past legal action.
- Flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday work schedules.
- TB clearance and annual re-testing.
- COVID-19 vaccination (accommodations considered with legal exemption).
