Mixologist

**Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled and creative Mixologist to join our team at Cattle Creek. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional and innovative cocktails that complement our upscale dining experience. The ideal candidate should have a passion for mixology, extensive knowledge of premium spirits, and the ability to provide guests with a memorable and unique beverage experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Cocktail Creation:**

- Develop and curate a signature cocktail menu that aligns with the upscale and western theme of the steakhouse.

- Create unique and visually appealing cocktails using high-quality ingredients and innovative techniques.

2. **Beverage Knowledge:**

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new spirits, and cocktail techniques.

- Possess in-depth knowledge of premium spirits, wine, and beer to assist guests in making informed choices.

3. **Customer Service:**

- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, understanding their preferences, and recommending appropriate beverages.

- Customize cocktails based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions.

4. **Bar Operations:**

- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness.

5. **Collaboration:**

- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure the synergy between food and beverage offerings.

- Collaborate with the management team to execute special events and promotions.

6. **Training and Development:**

- Train and mentor bar staff on cocktail preparation, presentation, and customer service.

- Keep the team informed about new products and industry trends.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as a Mixologist in a high-end or upscale dining establishment.

- Extensive knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and beverage trends.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

- TIPS or equivalent certification is preferred.

**Education:**

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Certification or coursework in mixology is a plus.

**Working Conditions:**

- This position requires standing for extended periods and the ability to lift heavy items.

- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $10.54 - $15.00 per hour
