Description
Systems Engineer for the NRO Office of Space Launch (OSL) supporting several projects that are critical to mission success. The candidate shall provide integrated program assessments and recommendations for tactical and strategic plans critical for OSL systems at the launch site. These systems encompass a wide variety of OSL capabilities including payload processing and launch pad facilities (both government and contractor), payload transportation systems, spacecraft fueling systems, payload monitoring systems (environments, RF, lightning, etc) O&M systems/processes (RCM, OM, CMMS, VFA), modeling and simulation tools (3DMSS, DES) and enterprise tools. The candidate shall perform and oversee systems engineering tasks including requirements development and verification. The candidate shall provide support during near term launch site processing and launch operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree.
- Must be a US citizen with an active Top Secret/ SCI with Polygraph
- Clearance required to remain on the program: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
