Day to day as a Ministry Coordinator

What we're looking for in a Ministry Coordinator

To be successful as a Ministry Coordinator at Community Youth Ministries, you'll need a unique blend of skills and qualities. First and foremost, alignment with CYM's mission and vision is essential. We are seeking a faithful follower of Jesus Christ who not only has a personal Christian faith commitment but also an ability and desire to express it to others. You'll also need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively connect with our youth and team members.

Being highly organized and detail-oriented is crucial in managing and coordinating various ministry programs. While a bachelor's degree in related fields is preferred, we also value hands-on experience. So if you have 3+ years of ministry experience, that's definitely a bonus! Additionally, experience in Christ-centered/Biblical counseling is highly preferred as it will enable you to provide holistic support to our youth. Your genuine desire to help others will shine through as you provide Christ-centered spiritual care and support. Additionally, as a leader in our ministry, you should feel comfortable leading small groups, facilitating discussions, and guiding others in their faith journeys.
