Minerals Sports Club Sales Manager

Reporting to the Sports Club Director, the Sales Manager is primarily responsible for attracting, hiring and onboarding qualified Membership Advisors. The Sales Manager is responsible for driving in-Club Sales performance and executing monthly sales strategies as developed in partnership with the Sports Club Director and General Manager. This individual is responsible for coaching and development all leads, while also selling and managing a pipeline of members.

Responsibilities:

• Train, motivate, coach, direct, and evaluate sales teams in partnership with Sports Club Director.
• Support and execute monthly sales strategy developed with Sports Club Director.
• Ensure all encounters with guests and staff members are friendly and service-oriented.
• Respond positively and quickly to guests’ concerns and correct potential challenges before they affect guests.
• Must maintain department record logs.
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition.
• The department is organized through personal inspection, following the department’s preventative maintenance programs, and performing the department checklist walk as directed.
• Ensure the efficient operation of the Sports Club department, focusing on the resort's excellent service and cleanliness standards.
• Promotes a spirit of teamwork both within the Sports Club and around the resort.
• Handle guest issues or concerns promptly.
• Prepare all required paperwork, including forms (Guest Incident Form, Status Change Form, and Separation Notice) and reports (ADP Report, Monthly Report, and Staffing Needs Report) in an organized and timely manner.
• Modify AM / PM department checklists when necessary.
• Ensure all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection, along with following up with the head trainer regarding the preventative maintenance program.
• Attend the weekly labor meeting with the general manager to review the previous week's labor analysis and look ahead to the following week.
• Attend the monthly guest experience meeting with the guest experience manager to identify service opportunities.
• Ensure proper coverage for all Sport Club areas, according to business needs.
• Ensures that the areas belonging to the Sports Club are clean and organized.
• Ensures proper inventory and submits orders for supplies as needed.
• Perform all other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have a working knowledge of Visual Club Mate, Maestro, Heath, ADP, Procurement Software, and Microsoft Office.
• Relevant experience creating engagement with digital leads
• Passionate, intelligent and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Computer literate
• Excellent time management, organizational and follow up skills
• Facilitate productive sales meeting
