Our craftsmen perform technical studies, design, manufacture, and fitting of very complex projects. Position :

The Project Manager is a key position in C2A USA. A highly skilled millworker, he/she uses the knowledge he/she has of the trade to manage the projects that are handled to him/her, from the beginning until the end.

He/she assists the Office Manager on site during the first briefs with the clients and helps through the quotation process. When the project starts, he/she prepares all the shop drawings based on his/her measurement and collaborates with the French engineering office. He/she then makes sur that every shop drawing is validated by the client and launch the fabrication, based on the samples he/she has preliminarily prepared and had reviewed by the client.

He/she keeps track of the fabrication, in France and with our subcontractors, updates the client with the progress and attends every meeting on site. He/she is in charge of ordering anything needed to complete the project, with the validation of the office manager. During the installation, he/she visits the install team as often as required and ease all of the issues they could encounter. Along with the FAO and the Office Manager, he/she takes care of everything related to his/her project and the installation team’s needs.

If the position of Project Manager is related to the good conduct of a project, he/she must keep in mind that they build relationship with they clients, a relationship they must do everything to preserve and grow. A well-handled project will always be the best advertisement and they best way to build customer loyalty.

Major functions:

- Managing one or several projects, from start to completion

- Assuring communication between the American actors and the French office

- Managing production budgets

- Being the face of the company on the jobsite

Specific Responsibilities

Preparation

- Attending brief meetings with the Office manager if required

- Performing the survey of the projects

- Overseeing the shop drawing process

- Managing the schedules with the client, the Office Manager and the French office

- Preparing the samples and mock-up for validation

- Getting the materials and shop drawing validations by the clients

- Communicating with the French Office during the preparation process

Follow-up

- Attending the jobsite and coordination meetings

- Being the link between the client and the French workshops

- Answering any request or questions to the clients

- Managing the fabrication, shipping and installation schedules

- Managing the sub-contractors

Finance

- Managing the budget of the project

- Buying the needed hardware, tools or services related to the project

- Following the expenses of the project with the Finance & Administrative Officer

Shipping & Installation

- Managing the pricings of the shipping in collaboration with the French office

- Overseeing the shipping, the arrivals and the customs of manufactured goods

- Managing the pricing of the installers

- Collaborating with the installers’ manager to organize the installation operations

- Overseeing the installation operations

Other

- Representing the company on any relevant events, along with the executives

- Keeping impeccable relations with the clients to ensure fidelity

- Building a personal network of clients and partners

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
