What we need…
We're seeking an Automation Developer for our Middleware Technology Services team to support exciting new initiatives building efficiencies within our operations. This person will support the lifecycle of our core and digital banking products through API development, systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Collaborating with teams across the company, this person will be exposed to many technologies within DBA, Linux, security, and network products, services and teams.

What you’ll do…
- Develop and test automation programs using C#, PowerShell, or Python, focusing on Ansible Automation Platform and RedHat.
- Identify and troubleshoot automation issues, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Develop and manage monitoring solutions for issue resolution and system reliability.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation and optimization opportunities.
- Provide training on automated processes and tools.
- Identify areas for efficiencies and automation within the daily operations.
What you’ll bring…
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred for this role but will consider appropriate work experience and/or relevant certifications.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a production setting.
- Understanding of programming concepts and proficiency in C#, PowerShell, or Python.
- Knowledge of API principles and experience consuming APIs.
- Experience deploying and managing web applications on Linux and Windows Server.
- Familiarity with relational database concepts, SQL proficiency, and exposure to database design principles.
- Experience working in teams using Agile methodologies (scrum or Kanban).
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and pipeline tools.
- Certification(s) related to the environment (e.g., Linux+, Security+, MCSA) is a strong plus.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Selenium.
- Knowledge of logging tools like Splunk for effective system monitoring and troubleshooting.
Local candidates are preferred for this role. This position requires participation in an on- call rotation.
The salary range for this position is $69,000 - 94,5000/ annually
