About the Role
As a Middle School History Teacher at Stratford School, you will implement a comprehensive curriculum to cover a wide variety of topics focused on the five major geographical regions of the globe. Focuses include culture, economic systems, social structures, and major historical events. language proficiency, critical thinking, and literacy skills.
You will also

• Plan, supervise, and implement curriculum
• Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
• Monitor and assess student progress
• Maintain an ordered and arranged classroom environment

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Previous teaching experience, preferably in Middle School or upper elementary grades
• Knowledge of language arts curriculum standards and instructional strategies
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
