Cambridge Lakes Charter School is a high-performing K-12 innovative school located in Pingree Grove, Illinois in the Chicagoland area. Cambridge Lakes Charter School has an enrollment of over 600 students and offers a variety of traditional and blended learning programs. The inviting school facility is on a beautiful 15 acres of campus with a newly constructed competition gym.
Core Responsibilities

• Maximize time on task by ensuring that all classroom lessons and activities are directly tied to state standards
• Participate in collaborative curriculum development, professional development, and feedback/content meetings
• Design and implement targeted daily whole group and small group lesson plans, as well as assessments that measure progress towards academic standards
• Use assessment data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices
• Be accountable for mastery of academic standards
• Ensure a structured, orderly, and calm classroom environment
• Drive to stay focused on scholar achievement and growth even when challenged
• Grit to be solution-focused and keep going until the desired results are achieved
• Growth mindset to see failures and setbacks as challenges to learn from and overcome
• Evidence of self-motivation and willingness to be a team player

Requirements
Valid Illinois Educator License or Bachelor's Degree with Related Work Experience. Charter schools may employ non-certified teachers if they have a bachelor's degree and meet other qualifications as candidates communicate with Cambridge Lakes Charter School.
