Middle School Boys Baseball Head Coach

Lincoln Leadership Academy Charter School is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to serve as the Head Coach for our Middle School Boys Baseball program. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering skill development, teamwork, and a positive sports culture. Must be able to obtain all necessary background checks, including FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse History Clearance, and a physical examination.Key Responsibilities:Program Leadership:-Lead all aspects of the Middle School Boys Baseball program, including planning, organization, and implementation of practices and games.-Create a positive and competitive team environment that promotes skill development and sportsmanship.Skill Development:-Develop and implement effective baseball drills and practices to enhance players' skills.-Provide individualized coaching to address player strengths and areas for improvement.Game Strategy:-Plan and execute effective game strategies in collaboration with assistant coaches.-Attend games and actively contribute to in-game decision-making.Player Motivation and Mentorship:-Motivate players to achieve their best both on and off the field.-Serve as a mentor and positive role model for student-athletes.Communication:-Communicate effectively with players, parents, school staff, and the athletics department.-Provide regular updates on player progress and team performance.Professional Development:-Stay informed about current trends and best practices in baseball coaching.-Pursue opportunities for professional development to enhance coaching skills.Qualifications:-Previous coaching experience in Middle School or youth baseball is preferred.-Knowledge of baseball rules, strategies, and skill development.-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.-Positive attitude and commitment to the holistic development of student-athletes.Application Process:Interested candidates are encouraged to complete this application.
