Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Direct and sustained technical and possibly administrative supervision over other professional engineers/designers/scientists.
- Requires application of engineering/design/scientific knowledge in all aspects of managing the work (e.g. planning, budget, schedule, procurement, construction, execution, etc.)
- Assigned problems require new or modification of established frameworks, guides, or policies and application of these to draw conclusions.

Qualifications
- Bachelors in engineering, environmental science, environmental planning, or equivalent; Advanced degree(s) preferred in a relevant subject area.
- 5+ years of professional experience, preferably with an environmental consulting organization, an operator, contractor or regulator
- Demonstrated commitment to HSE leadership.
- Expert knowledge in the environmental and regulatory issues associated with energy development and operation in Texas, Louisiana and the Gulf; air quality expertise a plus.
- A working understanding of the regulatory and governmental community (such as FERC, USEPA, USACE, state and local agencies) and industry.
- Excellent client and agency interfacing skills
- Track record of successful management of projects / work packages to meet agreed budget and schedule.
- Technical reporting prowess.
- Preparation of proposals, budget estimates and schedules for projects / work packages.
