NIRA is seeking a dedicated and innovative Mid-Level UX/UI Developer to join the NIRA project team in support of the FDA's digital transformation journey. This role is crucial for developing and implementing information dashboard and process automation solutions that align with the FDA IT Strategy's objectives, including enhancing collaboration, strengthening infrastructure, and modernizing services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborative Solution Development: Work within the OneFDA ecosystem to standardize procedures and develop shared platforms and tools, enhancing data and knowledge exchange across departments.
- UI/UX Development: Design, develop, and refine information dashboards with a focus on exceptional user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) to facilitate real-time business insights and decision-making.
- Service Modernization: Refine processes within the Process IT Automation Factory to ensure service stability and adaptability, utilizing the Everything-as-a-Service (XaaS) model for efficient resource allocation.
- Process Integration: Ensure seamless integration of automation solutions with existing IT infrastructures and service catalog development efforts, focusing on training and post-implementation support for smooth adoption and transition.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance
- 3+ years of software development experience, with a focus on UI/UX design, information dashboards, and process automation solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality, user-centered design.
- Strong proficiency in front-end and back-end development languages and frameworks.
- Proficiency in transitioning business process workflows to Low-code applications, coupled with the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize competing demands effectively.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience building enterprise-level mobile solutions utilizing best practices.
- Experience with Business Process Management (BPM), Microsoft Power Platform (BI, Automate, etc..), and familiarity with ServiceNow, Appian, Salesforce, or similar platforms is highly desired.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and engage with high-level stakeholders.
- Knowledge of IT Service Managment (ITSM) principles and experience integrating solutions within complex IT infrastructures.
- Ability to document, reimagine, and reengineer business processes, aligning them with organizational goals and objectives.
