Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for "Mid-Level Java with Microservices (Springboot) Developer" to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. Job Location - Philadelphia , PA
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain robust, scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy solutions in line with service assurance requirements.
Enhance and optimize service fulfillment processes to ensure efficiency and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to service assurance systems.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous improvement and deployment.
Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud deployment strategies, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Requirements:
Experience: 5 to 8 years in software development and service assurance domains.
Primary Skills:
Proficiency in Java development, with a strong grasp of microservices architecture using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
Secondary Skills:
Hands-on experience with cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and a solid understanding of cloud-based services.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and methodologies, enabling efficient software delivery and deployment.
Domain Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of Service Assurance for OSS (Operations Support Systems), including fulfillment and assurance processes.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications are a plus.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions.
Team Player: Strong collaborative skills, capable of working across teams and communicating effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification or training in system integration or relevant technologies.
Proven track record of successful system integration in telecommunications industry.
