We have an opening for Mid-Level Data Analyst role in Chicago, IL. This position requires onsite. Duration of the project is 5 months contract to hire.

- Scripting experience in (SQL and Python)
- Hands on experience with ETL / BI tools such as Tableau, Snowflake SQL, Unix/Linux, Databricks and Github.
- Scala a plus not required.

Ideal candidate will have:
- Degree specialized in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline Experience with Python, Snowflake SQL, Unix/Linux, Databricks and Github
- Experience with Amazon Web Services products, such as EC2, S3, Redshift, and Snowflake Desire to learn about external companies (typically Fortune 500) that Capital One partners with for co-brand and private label programs.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau/ThoughtSpot
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 1 year of experience in at least one scripting language with automation At least 1 year of experience in querying, analyzing, and working with data languages and platforms
- Master’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline Previous COF experience
- Experience in domain knowledge focused on risk management/audit/ credit operational control space
- 1+ years of experience working within process management and improvement
- 1+ methodologies – Lean, Six Sigma)
- 1+ years of experience working with and demonstrating knowledge of data
- 1+ governance, data quality
- management concepts and data quality tools
- 1+ years of experience with hands on Python/SQL coding in Databricks
- 1+ along with automation scripting skills
