Microsoft Power Bi Data Analyst

Overview

Axient is seeking a Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst to support our customer in Huntsville, AL. 

Responsibilities

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• This position will be responsible for mining and analyzing multiple Army maintenance related data sets and leveraging Six Sigma DMAIC methodology, trend, track and visualize failure modes and drivers of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions.
• Perform data mining and create visualizations and dashboards utilizing Microsoft Power BI for Army aviation model platforms and components in support of the Maintenance Consolidated Database System, AESIP and G-ARMY database systems.
• Design and implement data analysis and visualizations supporting Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) to identify opportunities for improvement with components, processes, and policies.
• Convert raw data into meaningful information by creating interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI.
• Report status of projects accurately and timely including key issues, delays in timelines, and timely escalation to key stakeholders and sponsors.
• Participate/Provide input to in Progress Reviews (IPR) for Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) projects.
• Participate in and organize Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to create and manage requirements as a part of the Governance Process.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation.
• Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of related work experience.
• Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization principles and proficiency in Power BI and other data tools. Experience with SQL, DAX, and other data languages.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and creating dashboards and reports using Power BI.
