Microbiology Technician

Description:

• The micro techs will be working in the research facility
• Priority of the day to day will be focused around sample prep
• Pulling, prepping, and plating samples is the main task
• Will get some exposure to using water baths, ovens, depending on project - Vitas, PCR and some other diagnostic instrumentation
• Heat treatments, process validation

Hours: 1st shift - can vary based on projects but M-F 7-4:30/6pm. Will rotate weekends (only one day on weekend), could work 2-3 weekends in a month at busiest
