The Opportunity
This position works out of our Westfield, IN location in the Structural Heart Division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.
What You'll Work On
As the Microbiologist, you will be responsible for performing environmental and utility monitoring to ensure the manufacturing cleanroom is in a state of microbiological control.
- Perform environmental monitoring consisting of viable airborne, non-particulate particulate and surface testing.
- Perform water monitoring consisting of bioburden and endotoxin testing.
- Perform compressed gas monitoring consisting of viable airborne, non-viable particulate, moisture and hydrocarbon testing.
- Perform growth promortion and qualification of isolates.
- Perform microbial identification.
- Maintain the microbiology laboratory and equipment, and order lab supplies.
- Conduct microbiological investigations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 1 - 4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred.

The base pay for this position is $48,000.00 – $96,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
