- Perform Quality Assurance and Quality Control testing of product, facilities, and critical systems
- Perform entry-level method development and R&D projects
- Assist with general or advanced method development and R&D projects
- Maintain laboratory equipment, facility systems, etc.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Generate reports
- Perform accurate and compliant data and record management
- Develop and maintain laboratory procedures.
- Assist with general or advanced method development and R&D projects
- Learn relative regulations
- Train, understand, and perform assays according to procedures and regulations
- Must maintain all training requirements for the position, while seeking out opportunities for continuous development and growth
- Adhere to the Quality Management System and its processes to meet FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulatory requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Masters Degree in Biology, Microbiology, or related field, or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background
- Working knowledge and understanding of regulations
- Laboratory experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Physical Requirements:
- Works under general office environment conditions
- Utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers and equipment
- Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and communicate
- Personal protective equipment including safety glasses, lab coat and gloves may be required in some areas associated with this position
- Occasionally lifting with moderate exertion during shift
