Responsible to work closely with Operations Manager to assist in administration of projects by coordinating projects from inception to completion. Assure projects assigned run smoothly by tracking progress and timely communicating its status to management as well as making sure project members communicate with each other. Act as point of contact on specified product lines. Will interact with product line personnel and coordinate product line marketing projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

· Work with Scheduling to ensure promised delivery dates.

· Maintain Open Issues Matrix for assigned projects.

· Coordinate shipping of material for assigned projects.

· Coordinate receiving of material at customer's site.

· Act as point of contact for identified Product Lines.

· Provide detailed customer quotes for Cat Track assemblies and Configured Systems.

· Maintain quote log.

· Assist in Wellness field checks and preparing wellness reports.

· Assists in managing item planning data (safety stock, lead time, minimum and maximum order quantities).

· May assist the inventory management team and warehouse to move slow moving inventory either by returns, obsoleting or scrapping.

· Demonstrates understanding of gross margins and resolutions of pricing problems.

· Coordinates with Pricing Administrator product line special costs and rebates.

· Investigates, expedites and resolves customer problems with deliveries.

· Coordinates purchasing activities with Sales and Customer Service to meet established inventory objectives (inventory turns and levels when Purchasing is not readily available).

· Develops and maintains relationships with product line contacts.

· Works with inside Customer Service Representatives to facilitate customer requirements including product substitution.

· Problem solves in conjunction with outside sales to meet customer requirements.

· Assists in ensuring training and product related events are executed including coordination of marketing event schedules.

· When needed will offer Product Support, commercially.

· Responds to inquiries via phone, fax or e-mail and acts as focal point for gathering product information needed to fulfill the project requirements

· Acts as back-up for product line purchasing and customer service.
