Job Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $75,000.00 To 85,000.00 Annually

FTE: 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) exempt.

Hours and Location: M-F 9 am – 5 pm.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Manager of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive DEI strategy that aligns with our company values and business goals. You will foster an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated and all employees feel valued, respected, and able to bring their whole selves to work.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage a strategic DEI plan that aligns with the company's mission, values, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with People & Culture, MHAAO leadership and other departments to integrate DEI principles into hiring practices, talent management, employee development, and overall people strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of DEI initiatives, preparing detailed reports for senior management and suggesting improvements where necessary.
  • Lead and manage the organization's DEI Committee, including setting agendas, facilitating meetings, and ensuring progress towards DEI objectives. Foster a collaborative and respectful environment within the committee, allowing for open discussions and varied perspectives.
  • Promote a company culture that values and respects diversity, inclusion, and equity.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and advice to leadership and employees on DEI-related matters.
  • Conduct and facilitate DEI training sessions and workshops for staff at all levels.
  • Engage with external stakeholders and communities to promote the company’s DEI initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DEI role or a related area such as HR, corporate responsibility, or community engagement.
  • Proven track record in designing, implementing, and evaluating DEI initiatives.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Knowledge of DEI best practices and relevant legislation.
  • Ability to lead change and influence others.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) or similar certification is a plus.
  • Experience with DEI metrics and reporting.
  • Proficiency in conducting DEI trainings and workshops.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
