Description

Support the Director of Operations and Metra Building Engineer/Electrician in coordinating the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all necessary building systems. Performs a wide variety of skilled HVAC, electrical and mechanical tasks for the maintenance, replacement, installation, repair and operation of equipment and structures at MetraPark.
Examples of Duties
- The Metra Building Engineer Assistant assists the Metra Building Engineer/Electrician in building maintenance tasks such as mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, plumbing and general maintenance, and repair needs for the Metra Park facility by performing the following duties:
- Maintains, repairs, installs and operates mechanical equipment, including industrial engines, pumps, valves and piping systems, compressors, freon units, chemical dispensing units, food dispensing units, food preparation and cooking units and laundry equipment;
- Removes and repairs or replaces worn or damaged machine parts, including bearings, mechanical seals, V-belts, filtering systems and electrical systems and components;
- Conducts preventive maintenance programs for heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems and tools.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Technology or closely related field; and
- One (1) years' experience in mechanical and/or electrical trade work; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training totaling three (3) years.
- Valid driver's license issued by the State of Montana.
