Metal Preparation Technician - Entry Level

Job Description:

PMA Industries has been a leading manufacturer in the US providing quality metal parts for customers since 1982. We currently have multiple divisions covering core areas: etched metal parts and craft-related tools and supplies for crafts and creative industries (paper crafts, mixed media arts, DIY home, sewing, quilting, and soft arts), private label arts and crafts products, commercial signage, and aerospace and equipment specialized parts and plates. Compensation:

DOE, plus a competitive benefits package

Responsibilities:

Adjust, maintain, monitor, and operate all equipment used in the preparation of metallic parts for production.

Know and follow safe operating procedures.

Quality control.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Requirements:

· Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job (standing for long periods, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds).

· Commitment to safety rules.

· Communication and teamwork skills.

· Proficiency in both written and spoken English is preferable.

· Submit to a company-paid drug screening and background check.
