Jockey is seeking a Merchandiser - Women's Underwearto join our Merchandising team!
This position will assist in development of consumer-focused products for all underwear categories, across all channels of distribution to help meet the sales goals of the company. This position will use insights, analytics, and metrics to determine new launch strategies or product lifecycle updates. This position will collaborate with cross-functional Merchants and other teams to develop product/product categories.
This position will be located at our corporate headquarters in Kenosha, WI (between Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI area).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist with strategic Category/Product plan and positioning (i.e. own product briefs per category, Category/Style/Color Seasonal Line Plan, expectation to be experts in understanding our product and product lines)
- Data Analysis – Sales Reporting, Market Analysis, Competitive Shopping Analysis
- Review consumer feedback (i.e. Digest feedback and prepare feedback reports to evaluate influence to product with stakeholders)
- Product lifecycle management
- Packaging requests/Packaging final artwork approvals
- Assist in calendar tracking
- Build relationships and collaborations (i.e. Product Marketing, Packaging team, Milestone Development Meeting/Management/Lead, Weekly collaboration meeting with BU DTC/Wholesale merchants, Weekly Design/PD Meetings)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of relevant business experience.
- Basic understanding of market and consumer impact on line planning.
- Knowledge/understanding of product development process.
- Basic working knowledge of financial principles in cost development.
- Strong collaboration skills through clear and authentic communication style with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Tableau and PLM Software knowledge a plus.
