Overview: This position assists in all aspects of the buying department.Major Qualifications (include but are not limited to):
- Allocate merchandise to stores
- Daily Communication with warehouse regarding order maintenance; PO issues.
- Write and follow up with purchase orders.
- Place buys under direction of Merchandise Analyst and Buyer including written orders and follow up.
- Test cases, factory directs, all coordination of paperwork and shipping.
- Markdown maintenance under direction of Buyer.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years' experience in retail or related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
