We are currently looking to hire an experienced Mercedes-Benz and BMW Automotive Technician to become an integral part of our team. Qualifications
• The ideal candidate for the position will have a minimum of 3 years of Mercedes-Benz and BMW experience.
• Have excellent communication and organizational skills and a desire to work within a Team System.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills with knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment.
• Deadline and detail-oriented.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Valid in-state driver’s license and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs.)
• Fort Myers, FL 33908: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
• Work Location: In person
Responsibilities
• The Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, following dealership and factory standards.
• Oversee the work of any apprentice technician assigned.
• This position interacts daily with the Service Advisor, other Technicians, and management.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and performing repair.
• Conducting multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure the safety and reliability of Customer vehicles.
• Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Notify the service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required.
• Notify the service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
• Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty, core parts, or if requested by the customer.
• Road-test vehicles when required, keeping in mind that the customer vehicle should not be used for personal errands.
• Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean.
• Keep the shop area neat, and clean, and be able to always account for all company-owned tools.
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous waste.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report all accidents to the Manager.
