Menu Technician

Job Summary

RWJBH is seeking a Menu Technician for our Dietary-Management Department at the New Brunswick campus,

This is a Part-Time, evening position 25 hours/week,

Requirements/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required within one 1 year of hire,
• Candidates who do not possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent will be provided the opportunity to enroll in a GED/HSEA program at time of hire as a condition of employment,

A hired candidate will be provided one 1 year from date of hire to successfully complete a GED program and obtain their HSEA,

• Process room service meal orders in a timely fashion according to established policies, including patient and family initiated orders,
• Must have excellent customer service skills and proper telephone etiquette,
• Will also have to visit patient rooms to obtain menu selection,

Able to process menu selections for all diet restrictions based on diet order, providing proper portions and nutrient requirements,
