The Courage Clinic is a private outpatient psychiatric clinic whose mission is to support individuals and families towards living courageously by providing exceptional Mental Health care via telehealth to all residents of Colorado. The Courage Clinic is different from others in how we facilitate exceptional care. This occurs through providing ample time for intakes and follow-up appointments, making sure that providers and clinicians have time to thoroughly gather information and address client concerns. We also provide administrative pay to compensate clinicians for their time collaborating, documenting, and attending weekly meetings. In addition, group and individual supervision and consultation are available on a regular basis.
Position Overview:Full-time (25 clients per week – can see more if desired) W-2 employee, Mental Health Therapist(PSY, LCSW, MFT, LPC, LPCC)with a flexible schedule. Therapists will provide virtual outpatient individual therapy, couples, family or group therapy if interested, to patients of The Courage Clinic. Clinical therapy services include treatment of clients across the lifespan, with options for specialization in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Therapists will collaborate with clinic psychiatric providers for shared clients. We are currently looking for a Colorado-licensed (or unlicensed LPCC) therapist who is social justice minded, anti-racist, anti-ableist, LGBTQ+ affirming, respectful of all people despite differences, and ready to be a part of a dynamic and collaborative team. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual clinical counseling services to patients of The Courage Clinic, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies, state of Colorado regulations, and national professional associations.
- Be properly licensed (or an LPCC eligible for licensure) and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for The Courage Clinic.
- Respond to client’s requests for service or calls within 24 business hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, or through The Courage Clinic website.
- Provide collaborative care by communicating with a client’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school) as necessary.
- Complete written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, treatment plans, progress notes, termination notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required by The Courage Clinic or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient. All notes and documentation must be completed within 48 hours of the service.
- Complete superbills for services completed, consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by The Courage Clinic.
- Maintain accurate and up to date client files.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and trainings as directed by The Courage Clinic.
- Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner to maintain and increase goodwill and enhance the reputation of The Courage Clinic.
- Be passionate about collaboration and helping our team members grow and learn.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Align with The Courage Clinic mission, vision, and values.
- Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
- Active, unrestricted license (PSY, LCSW, MFT, LPC, LPCC) in the State of Colorado.
- Must be able to hold at least 25 patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by The Courage Clinic.
- Be prompt and on time for work.
- Be able to work independently.
- Be organized and detail oriented.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Be a team player.
- Prior experience in a private practice, community Mental Health clinic, or similar setting preferred.

Compensation:
$62,000 to $67,000 with full benefits package including PTO, health insurance, retirement match, short term disability, life insurance, malpractice insurance, training stipend and supervision.
