Job Description
What we’re looking for:
We are currently seeking a full-time direct-hire Therapist for the Mental Health department. The Therapist provides a broad range of Therapeutic and psychiatric social work services to individuals with a Mental Health or co-occurring disorders.
This position has a pay range of $48,000-$58,000 for limited licensed candidates and $58,000-$65,000 for fully licensed candidates and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience.
Qualifications
Required
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- LLMSW or LMSW
- CADC or CAADC is preferred
- At least one (1) year of clinical experience working with individuals with mental illnesses, substance use disorders and/or developmental disabilities.
- A valid State of Michigan Driver's License and an acceptable driving record
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide individual and group therapy for individuals with Mental Health or Co-Occurring disorders.
- Offer case management services both in consumers' residences and at the program.
- Conduct intakes and submit treatment recommendations.
- Ensure regular assessments are conducted with a person-centered approach for those receiving services.
- Maintain an audit-ready case load at all times.
- Keep accurate documentation for successful entry into Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and timely billing.
- Facilitate crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and stress management.
- Make immediate responses to emergencies and referrals to supportive services.
- Collaborate with families, staff, and community service providers, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Stay current with required trainings, including CPR, First Aid, Recipient Rights, and Person-Centered Planning.
- Comply with Corporate Compliance Standards, managing multiple tasks with effective time management.
- Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills essential for providing Mental Health services to consumers and their natural support systems.
- Exhibit knowledge of principles and processes for delivering customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
