What You'll Do

• Assess and provide brief targeted therapeutic interventions for clients via teletherapy services for an acute pediatric population.
• Ability to provide individual and family therapy.
• Ability to make critical decisions in line with clinical expertise to implement least restrictive safety measures.
• Assess and safety plan critically for the least restrictive environment necessary to ensure safety.
• Be accessible to Care Team to solve problems, provide consultation, and work as an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Meet regularly with behavioral health manager to discuss caseload progression, application of brief intervention model, discharge planning, and to assign new patients.
• Work collaboratively with Behavioral Health team to continuously improve clinical program workflows and patient experiences.

What You Bring and How you Qualify:

A qualified candidate will be empathetic, caring, organized, and has strong relationship-building skills. In this role, you will need:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling or related area
• Must be licensed to independently practice in TX or FL( must have eligibility for additional state licensure for Imagine Pediatrics to assist in achieving ) LCSW/LMFT/LPC
• Minimum 1 year of non-supervised independent practice experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong preference and comfortability conducting triage assessments and crisis interventions.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and their caregivers inclusive of external systems involved in a minor's care.
• Experience working with high-risk behavioral health populations including but not limited to suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, severe persistent mental illness (SPMI), children in the foster care system.
• Experience working with a diverse population or demographics.
• Telehealth experience
• Strong communication, documentation, and diagnostic skills
• Familiarity with technology, Microsoft suites, and documenting in electronic health records.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.

The target base salary for this position starts at $70,000 in addition to competitive company benefits package and eligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable). When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors including job-related knowledge, skills and experience. These considerations may cause your compensation to vary.
