We began operating in 2020 under Mindfulway Psychotherapy, and we have recently begun to expand and re-branded our practice as we are consistently receiving a stead stream of referrals. Our practice is rooted in diversity, equity, and inclusion principles. We have years of experience and have made a name for ourselves in the community in specializing working with the neurodiverse community, LGBTQIA+ community, and with children/adolescents and their families.

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking to hire W-2 employees, both associate level and Fully LicensedMental Health practitioners (LMHC/A, LMFT/A, and LICSW/A) to provide telehealth therapy within the state of Washington, with the opportunity to provide in person in the future in Seattle (we are looking into more office space as we expand).

The position will start part-time, with a minimum commitment of 12 client contact hours a week, with the opportunity to move into a full-time position which is a minimum of 22 client contact hours per week within 6 months.

Clinicians can work with either individuals, couples, or families. Ideally, application candidates have some specialized training or area of focus/expertise. Our practice is heavily focused on the areas of neurodiversity (ADHD, the Autism Spectrum and other neurodiverse type), trauma, the LGBTQIA+ community, and families/adolescents.

Responsibilities/Skills:

• Conduct assessments, diagnosis, and ongoing culturally sensitive treatment using best practices.
• Develop clinical treatment plans which focus on client strengths, culture, needs, and goals.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with other community Mental Health providers, primary care, and other referral sources.
• Coordinate client treatment with schools, physicians, and other community resources and referrals to community services whenever necessary.
• Work autonomously to serve clients within our community while receiving unwavering support from a team of colleagues and mentors.
• Analyze, generate and/or maintain a variety of clinical records and reports, test results, medical records, and assessments to diagnose the Mental Health condition of patients and propose treatment options.
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely completion of medical records.

Experience:

• A master’s degree in the Mental Health field from an accredited university
• An active associate license in the State of Washington as an LMFTA, LMHCA, or LICSWA OR be independently licensed to practice in the State of Washington as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.

Ideal Experience:

• Experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community and clinical knowledge around sensitive clinical topics, including the kink community.
• Experience working with neurodiverse clients, especially in supporting children/adolescents and their families.

Job Requirments:

• Availability to see clients at least 12 hours per week (part-time) and 22 hours/week (full-time).
• As this position is telehealth, you MUST be located physically in the state of Washington for insurance credentialing standards.
• Additionally, you will need to have access to a private/confidential room to conduct your sessions via telehealth, a computer with camera, a reliable internet connection, and a phone that can have applications added (Spruce Health, our secure client messaging app).
• Candidates must be independently motivated, clear communicators, driven, solution-oriented, and willing to give constructive feedback as the practice grows.

Associate Benefits:

• Client facing hours are paid at a rate of $50/session for full-fee and insurance-based clients; $35 for reduced-fee clients. (Increased pay after 6 month performance review)
• 1 admin hour for every 5 clinical contact hours, up to 15 hours per month, reimbursed at $35/hour.
• 2 hours paid case consultation per month.
• We are unable to CURRENTLY provide licensure supervision, however, we do offer to pay up to $100/month ($200/month for FT-associates) in supervision related costs (receipts required). We will be able to provide licensure supervision beginning in the Summer of 2024.

Fully Licensed Benefits:

• Client facing hours are paid at a rate of $60/session for full-fee and insurance-based clients; $45 for reduced-fee clients.
• 1 admin hour for every 5 clinical contact hours, up to 15 hours per month, reimbursed at $40/hour
• 2 hours of paid case consultation per month.

Company Benefits:

• Approximately 3 weeks of unpaid time off vacation (75 hours) accrued at 1 hour for every 17 hours worked.
• Up to 2 weeks (80 hours) paid sick time/paid time off, accrued at a rate of 1 hour per 40 hours worked.
• 8 Holidays (unpaid time off).

• We handle all insurance billing, credentialing, and collecting of client payments!
• For independently licensed clinicians, we will assist in the insurance credentialing process. We are considered in-network with Premera, Regence, Aetna, UHC/Optum, FirstChoice Health Network, and are in the process of credentialing with Cigna.
• We pay for half of your licensure reimbursement.
• We will be looking to add health insurance and retirement savings within the next 6-9 months.
• Within the next 3-6 months, we will begin offering CEU reimbursement.
