Mental Health Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and care to individuals with Mental Health conditions. Duties:
- Assist in the implementation of treatment plans under the supervision of licensed Mental Health professionals
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with activities of daily living
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation
- Conduct data collection and maintain accurate records of patient progress
- Utilize crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate challenging situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Support individuals with autism spectrum disorder and assist in developing strategies for their unique needs
- Provide addiction counseling and support individuals in their recovery journey
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in Mental Health is preferred
- Previous experience in a behavioral health setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to collect data, observe patient behavior, and report findings accurately
- Understanding of behavioral health principles and commitment to providing compassionate care

Pay: $29.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• Nashville, TN 37201: Relocate before starting work (Required)
