Job Overview: Shift-3*13 - NIGHT SHIFT
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with Mental Health disorders. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the implementation of treatment plans and provide direct patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assessment and evaluation of patients' Mental Health status
- Monitor and document patients' behaviors, progress, and vital signs
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive outcomes
- Support patients in developing coping skills and managing symptoms
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or certification in a related field preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience working with medical records
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special education background is a plus
- Familiarity with data collection methods and documentation procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of PTSD care and trauma-informed approaches is preferred
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques is a plus

Salary: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
