Job Description
The Mental Health Support Staff is responsible for the provision of program support and direct care of patients in treatment at Bridges to Recovery. Mental Health Support Staff must have a positive attitude, follow directions well, and possess the ability to work independently when required. They should exhibit a high level of professionalism and healthy emotional and physical boundaries. They must have a strong work ethic and be a reliable team player. Mental Health Support Staff look after the physical and mental well-being of vulnerable adults in our care.
$1,000.00 Signing Bonus
Day shift- 7am-3:30pm
Swing Shift- 3pm-11:30pm
Night Shift- 11pm-7:30am
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a related field preferred
- Articulate, well-spoken, with outstanding customer service skills
- Previous positive employment references
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Successfully complete drug screening, DMV, and comprehensive background check
- Candidates must pass a live scan background check
- Candidates must pass a 10-panel drug screen which includes Marijuana
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Driving clients in company vehicles, getting gas for company vehicles, light housekeeping, including washing dishes and cleaning up after clients when needed
- Meals are included for employees. One Meal per shift
- Observes residents to monitor activities and behavior, and document notable behaviors, medical and medication behaviors, and rules violations. Provide one-to-one supervision for any patient at risk
- Reinforce positive behaviors of clients, and promote social interaction by conversing with them, participating in activities with them, etc.
- Ensures a clean, safe, and secure environment conducive to behavioral changes based on program rules and regulations
- Offer assistance with admissions and discharges, performing room moves, arranging transportation, delivering amenities as requested, and relaying accurate information from the clinical and administrative teams in a timely manner
- Participates in the inspection of the residences for fire, safety, and maintenance purposes and conducts required scheduled fire and safety drills.
- Relate professionally, ethically, and compassionately to clients, peers, and staff at all times

The compensation range for the Residential Support Staff role is $20.00hr.
The range provided is for California-based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations other than CA may differ based on the cost of living in that geographic location.
