MUST BE A LCSW or LPC in the State of Louisiana
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The LMHP complete assessments, and/or re-authorizations, reviews progress notes, assist with interventions, and all things clinical. The LMHP also provides individual supervision, provides Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment-Telehealth (CPST) to consumers of Stages of Change, LLC in an outpatient setting. The overall purpose is to provide quality service delivered with dignity and respect for the client and community. This service is aimed at improving the client’s overall Mental Health, and generating increased community wellness. The Mental Health Professional will practice in an ethical manner; work with colleagues and clients with respect. This position is clinically supervised by the LMHP, and its functions are coordinated by the Program Director
1. Provide direct service to individuals. This includes Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment-telehealth (CPST), participate in supervision and training, and provide crisis intervention services, if needed. Services and supports should be provided in ways that are considerate of individual’s dignity and respect.
2. Provide on-call services for individuals in crisis in rotation with other MHP/MHS’s.
3. Assist with coordination and linkage with community agencies.
4. Prepare necessary and timely service documentation and evaluation as required by reimbursement standards, the policies and procedures manual, and ensure review by Supervisor and /or LMHP when required.
5. Complete progress notes that are congruent and adhere to best practices and quality standard of care as outlined in treatment plan.
6. Attend required staff meetings and trainings.
7. Maintain involvement in other agency programs.
8. Pursue educational opportunities as a means of furthering professional development as well as fulfilling CEU requirements.
9. Meet deadlines, including those, which may be difficult to meet, and meet productivity standards.
10. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, privacy, and security.
11. Upholds and promotes all standards of CARF, HIPAA, reimbursable compliance and Stages of Changes, LLC policies and procedures outlined in agency’s policy manual.
