MindAlign Counseling Group is seeking qualified, full or part-time Outpatient Therapists to provide in-office and/or telehealth services. MindAlign is looking for individuals who want to grow their careers and become part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, providing services to a broad spectrum of clients.
DUTIES
- Provide diagnostic assessments, therapy, and counseling and support services for a mixed caseload including adults, adolescents, and families experiencing Mental Health issues, communication challenges, or family conflict.
- Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients' treatment.
- Gather information about community Mental Health needs and resources that could be used in conjunction with therapy.
- Evaluate clients' mental condition based on review of client information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff members to perform clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Conduct initial family assessments and refer patients, clients, or family members to community resources or to specialists as necessary.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on DA, clinical experience and knowledge.
- Guide clients in the development of skills and strategies for dealing with their problems.
- Modify treatment activities and approaches as needed to comply with changes in clients' status.
- Maintain all professional licensure(s) required
- Maintain up-to-date client treatment records as required by funders and agency.
Qualifications:
*Master’s degree or higher in a counseling related field.
*Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker. LPC residents are also encouraged to apply.
*Must be able to work as a team member and cooperatively with local programs and organizations.
*Must have reliable means of transportation and a valid driver’s license.
*Must maintain agency, coworker, and client confidentiality and abide by the Data Privacy Act and the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act.
Education
Required: Master’s degree or higher in a counseling related field
Licenses
Required: Resident in counseling (documentation/license to support from Virginia Board of Counseling)
Preferred:
LCSW (VA)
LPC (VA)
Compensation:
Salary will be based upon qualifications, as well as the number of psychotherapy sessions provided.
