Program Overview: Intensive Youth and Family:
The Youth and Family Intensive Services program consists of several programs that support youth who are at risk of hospitalizations, legal involvement, expulsion from school for a variety of reasons, at risk out of placement, and can benefit from the additional support of individual therapy, group therapy, peer support, and case management services to increase skills, strengthen bonds and reduce the need for outside stakeholder interventions.

 

This position will support the 180 and Day Reporting Center (DRC) program’s Youth and families by providing linkage to outside agencies to help families in need, support the youth in activities related to transitioning into adulthood, assisting Youth and families in using skills in the home through behavior coaching, working with DRC staff in groups and other activities to help families and their youth remain in the home.

 

 

Sign-On Bonus Available

Licensed Clinicians $7,000.00

Unlicensed Clinicians $5,000.00

 

 

 

Salary Range: 
Unlicensed: $50,000.00/yr. - $58,259.00/yr.
Licensed: $56,900.00/yr. - $71,133.00/yr.

 

 

Salary Placements will vary and may be above the starting wage based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, education, and licensure. Salary placements will generally occur between the starting wage and the midpoint of the salary range.

 

Employees may be eligible for additional pay based on program, evening, night, weekend, or holiday work. Bilingual pay may be available upon successful passing of language validation testing. 

Position Summary

Mental Health Clinician
The Youth and Family Intensive clinician will provide ongoing assessment, crisis intervention, individual, family, and group therapy as well as case management with Youth and families with acute needs. Develops and monitors services plans, monitors treatment progress, documents interactions, and maintains electronic clinical records and other reporting data for customers with mild to severe mental and/or substance use illnesses, disorders, and or disabilities. Coordinates with clinical supervisor and psychiatrist regarding Mental Health and/or substance use disorder treatment.  

 

 

Position Summary:
With a CollaborativeCustomer First, and Compassionate approach, Mental Health Clinicians will:

  • Embrace the North Range Behavioral Health Mission Statement - Provide compassionate, comprehensive care for people who face Mental Health and addiction challenges.
  • Provide person-centered assessment, goal planning, and treatment for Mental Health and/or substance use issues. Provide screening, intakes, and assessments of clients utilizing required instruments and formats within appropriate timelines.
  • Develop strength-based written treatment plans/updates and continuing care plans and make appropriate referrals. Complete written discharge summaries and correspondence within established timelines.
  • Observe clients in a variety of situations. Assess the diagnosis and mental status of clients, evaluate the current level of functioning, and develop and implement treatment/service plans to address clients’ needs.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians, law enforcement, external providers, and psychiatrists to provide services to clients. 
  • Maintain close and cooperative relationships with community agencies and other public agencies in carrying out treatment/service plans.
  • Collaborate continuously with assigned clients to devise safety planning, provide symptom management, identify support systems, reduce, and mitigate risk factors. May deliver services to clients in their homes or other settings in the community.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or another behavioral health discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 
  • A Valid Driver's License and driving record that meets with hiring requirements as set forth for someone that must transport clients/program participants are required. 

 

Additional eligibility requirements Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS):

  • Annual Flu Vaccine
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Exemptions may be available upon hire according to company policy)
  • Annual TB Testing
