The BONUSES: Our Memory Care is a gorgeous 48 bed community on a shared campus with Assisted Living shared amenities, it is very highly occupied with low turnover. Just finished 2023 State Survey completely deficiency-free! As the Memory Care Director some of your responsibilities will include:
Memory Care Director is responsible for day to day operations and directly supervises the clinical team.
- Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and evaluates clinical managers to ensure that the highest quality of care is provided for residents.
- Is responsible for ensuring staffing is adequate, and OT labor is controlled.
- Manages expenses for clinical department.
- Oversee the Health Care needs of the residents.
- Ensures that the medication systems and the resident health records are appropriately and adequately utilized.
- Plans, communicates and coordinates with medical providers concerning the health care needs of the residents as needed.
- Plans and executes in-services for the clinical team
- Ensures that updated interim service plans are in place as care changes occur.
- Monitors the day-to-day work provided by the clinical managers; supervising, critiquing, suggesting, and educating the staff on proper work standards.
- Ensures that proper charting is adequate and complying with policy.
- Ensure updates to evaluations and service plans as needed and per Oregon Regulations 30, 60, and 90 days.
- Oversees and ensures completion of all clinical department quality assurance programs.
- Completes initial paperwork on all new admissions, and routinely audits resident charts to ensure paperwork is complete and filed correctly.
- Coordinates the resident’s move-in and orients new residents to the community.
- Conducts weekly one on ones with each Memory Care manager.
- Completes the initial evaluation and service plan on each resident.
- Monitors and implements the entire service plan and assessment process. This includes updating service plans on a routine and timely basis, scheduling service plan meetings with residents, employees, and families, facilitates the service plan meeting to ensure all information is covered by each participant, and routinely monitoring the process to develop new and better ideas for the delivery of care to the residents.
