Profile
A Member Support staff is the entry level but essential role for our member experience team. The focus of this position is to provide support through phone calls, walk ins, and existing member needs. This position has dual purposes as a cleaner for our facility. This person should be able to follow and complete task lists on their own. This person should also be able to provide great customer service while collecting information through our processes to ensure the right person gets the information.
Priorities/Job Goals
- Answers phones, serves prospective and active members that come in during staffed hours.
- Prepare the facility - Stock shelves, keep a clean and tidy facility.
Roles and Tasks
- Provide top level customer service.
- Greet members and prospects with a smile as they come into the gym.
- Answer phone calls with a smile.
- Wears proper work attire.
- Handle incoming inquiries (phone and walk-ins).
- Collect lead information when someone comes in or calls.
- Input the information and forward to the appropriate person.
- Handle front desk administrative tasks.
- Complete tasks on the task list.
- Ensure all tasks are getting completed on a regular basis.
- Handle members' accounts.
- Help in keeping members' accounts active and up to date.
- Assist in marketing additional services and upcoming events/specials.
- Assisting managers in completing workshops/events.
- Share information about upcoming events and specials.
- Prepare the facility.
- Front and stock merchandise on the shelves.
- Assisting in setting up of the facility for clients.
- Have the radio ready for classes/sessions.
- Complete opening and closing procedures.
- Clean
- Ensure cleanliness of the facility.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $8.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
Shift:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends
