Member Service Representative

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Member Service Representative. As a Member Service Representative, you will be the face of our credit union, responsible for providing exceptional service to our members while efficiently processing transactions. This role involves actively offering solutions to members to enhance their financial wellbeing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the financial industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform member transactions and respond to member inquiries with efficiency and friendliness while ensuring accuracy and member privacy.
• Offer credit union solutions to members to enhance their financial wellbeing and relationship with the credit union.
• Resolve member account discrepancies and complaints with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain and professional and courteous attitude with fellow employees, management, and members.
• Foster a collaborative work environment built on inclusiveness.
• Adhere to all security and compliance procedures to safeguard credit union assets.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; educational background in finance is beneficial but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

• Customer service: 2 years (Required)
