Member Service Representative

Department: Branch Operations

Days of Work: M-F; Saturday morning rotation

Job Summary

The Member Service Representative serves as a liaison between the member and the credit union. They are responsible for providing account information, the opening and closing of accounts, processing account ownership changes, the purchase and surrender of certificates of deposit, IRAs, providing notary services, and other services as needed. They also serve as a backup in the teller and receptionist areas as needed.

Qualifications Required

A high school diploma or equivalent AND two years of experience working in a financial institution OR an Associate Degree AND one year of experience working in a financial institution.

Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills; strong organizational and time management skills; the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Applicants must submit and successfully pass a pre-employment background test and drug screening as a condition of employment with Mayo Employees Federal Credit Union.
