Works closely with the Golf Professionals to oversee all facets of the outside golf operations and especially the day-to-day responsibilities and procedures established to ensure efficiency and meeting service objectives. Primary responsibilities will consist of, but not limited to: providing unmatched service while exceeding all member/guest expectations, maintaining golf car fleet, practice facility, member assistance, member/guest hospitality, tournament operations, and operating within a budget. Work closely with the Golf Professionals to properly execute member & guest events.
Qualified candidates first and foremost must have excellent customer service and communication skills, be a team player, and have a passion for golf.
Must be a strong and proven leader of the outside golf staff and a complete team player
Stages carts for daily play.
This position needs to lead by example and must encompass all the daily operations in his/her daily routine.
Must have the ability to manage the entire outside operation and take ownership of all outside operations.
Must have strong interpersonal skills as well as the ability to prioritize and delegate work in the most challenging of situations and able to stay calm and effective throughout.
Flexibility of hours and willingness to work more than 40 hours per week, including holidays and weekends, on a regular basis.
Ability to work outdoors during all weather conditions.
Ability to be a self-starter where little supervision is required to accomplish tasks.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Provide exceptional service to members & guests after completion of play.
Ability to integrate quickly with an established team of golf professionals.
Supervise and train outside personnel.
Provide excellent customer service, professional advice, and assistance to all patrons. Focus your attention on Members' and guests' needs and remain calm, professional, and courteous at all times, even when under pressure.
Prepares carts for members' use; stocks and maintains carts before and after each use.
Greets members and assists members and guests with the loading of their golf clubs on the cart.
Trains new OUTSIDE SERVICE attendants on standard operating procedures, sanitation, and service requirements.
Answers attendant questions regarding customer inquiries or requests. Resolves complaints.
Acts as a liaison between Pro Shop staff and OUTSIDE SERVICE attendants to ensure timely and appropriate service communication.
Leans golf clubs and returns clubs to bag room.
Assists with the maintenance of the driving range; picks up range balls and cleans them; ensures ball containers are filled.
Provides additional support to other areas of the course as needed.
Prepares stored member clubs for play based on tee sheet,
Cleans and maintains organization of bag storage area.
Ensures clean and well-organized cart staging, storage, and bag room areas.
Demonstrates a commitment to the work and success of the club and the Company by being service- and solution-oriented, positively interacting with all club staff and members/guests, and meeting established quality, service, and safety expectations.
Performs additional assignments per the direction of club or Company managers.
Regular and punctual attendance on site for all scheduled shifts is required.
