Job Summary:
Cleaners (Environmental Services Associates) lower infection risks by cleaning and sanitizing all areas of our hospital. They also ensure everybody’s safety by making sure hazards are removed from hallways. This work creates a warm and inviting experience for everybody at CentraCare – Melrose.
What we’re really looking for is someone driven to serve, who finds satisfaction in knowing the impact that their work has on others. Commercial cleaning experience helpful, but not required.
Hours & Wages:
- These are “casual” hours, this means just covering open areas on the schedule, maybe once or twice every few weeks.
- We need one person for day shifts from 6am to 2:30pm.
- We need another person for evening shifts, either 1-930pm or 4-8pm.
- Both of these hires will need to also be available for potential weekend or holiday shifts.
- There may be opportunities to pick up additional, non-scheduled shifts.
- Our hiring rate starts at $16.73/hour with no experience. This wage will increase based on your experience level in housekeeping.
- In addition to the base hourly rate, we pay an extra $1.00/hour for any minimum 4-hour shift between 3p and 11p, and $1.05/hour for weekend shifts.
