This is a Part Time roster position averaging 20 hours per week/1,000 hours annually. Employee must be able to work weekends and evenings.
Job Duties
The primary duty is the set up and operation of the Swiss Timing system and associated computers, equipment, cables, buttons, touchpads, relay judging platforms, starting blocks, and other hardware for swim meets at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. Setup equipment and work the scoring table for dive meets. The Meet Tech will also assist with pool set up and physical pool configuration as necessary. Moderately physical work in general.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge and background of competitive aquatic sports.
Prior experience using Colorado timing system, Daktronics, or Swiss Timing system preferred.
Must have computer hardware and software knowledge and set up skills.
High school Diploma or equivalent and 18 years of age or older.
Must demonstrate good time management, ability to focus and respond quickly to equipment malfunctions, should be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Requires occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
