What we are looking for:

 

We are hiring a Jet Captain to be based in Marshall, MN. This position is responsible for transporting company personnel as requested and assigned. Performs captain and co-pilot responsibilities as requested on all corporate aircraft.

 

Responsibilities

• Prepares for each flight in accordance with FAR 91.5 and company operations manual. Accepts the provisions of Pilot in Command authority as stated in FAR 91.3 and company operations manual. Maintains records as provided in FAR 61.51and company operations manual.
• Notifies passengers and department management when necessary to delay or cancel flights due to weather or mechanical problems.
• Maintains revisions on Navigational Charts assigned to him/her.
• Arranges for transportation and services en-route in compliance with company operations manual.
• Informs maintenance personnel of aircraft discrepancies in accordance with company operations manual.
• Assures that he/she has in his/her possession at all times, a current medical license and license for the operations being conducted. Keeps abreast of current operational and procedural changes and advances on the aviation field.
• When designated Pilot In Command for the trip, will perform those duties in accordance with the applicable FARS and the company operations manual.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5-8 years of related work experience as well as 3,000 hours total time in aircraft. Must have 500 hours of multi-engine turbine and/or turbo jet experience.
• Must hold a multi-engine ATP certificate, must be able to obtain type rating for aircraft flown, must maintain a procard by Flight Safety International or its equivalent.
• The ability to become and remain organized. The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining the ability to re-direct efforts based upon shifting demands. The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
