We are seeking a Medical Records/Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for answering phones, scheduling appointments, and the general organization and maintenance of patient records. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones for scheduling, medical records and general information
- Follow all procedures in the accurate maintenance of patient records
- Ensure all patient paperwork is completed and submitted in an accurate and timely manner
- File patient medical records and information via computer entry
- Maintain the confidentiality of all patient medical records and information
- Other administrative and clerical duties as assigned
- Previous experience as a Medical Records/Scheduler or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and administrative processes
- Familiarity with information management programs, Microsoft Office, and other computer programs
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
