Medical Transport Courier

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Included but not limited to the following)

• Maintains quality standards and safely performs duties while providing excellent customer service.
• Operates Fetter Health Care Network’s motor vehicles on a regular and routine basis.
• Packages medication for shipment and loads/unloads containers.
• Daily delivery, pickup and carrying mail to and from assigned facilities.
• Accurately and efficiently sorts mail and makes mail pickups and deliveries.
• Provides security for all mail during deliveries.
• Receive and document courier packages.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to function effectively as a team member and facilitate completion of tasks.
• Requires strong organizational skills, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Multi-task effectively; be able to adjust to frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events; be flexible and/or adaptable as work requirements change.
• Able to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Possess management skills, with focus on the ability to handle multiple projects needs simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Valid South Carolina Driver’s License with a good MVR (Motor Vehicle Report)
• 1+ years of experience as a Courier or similar role.
• Experience negotiating contracts and with vendors directly.
