Medical Transcriptionist- Plastic Surgery

Busy cosmetic/Plastic Surgery group seeks a part time Medical Transcriptionist to help with transcribing medical dictation. Responsibilities to include:

• Transcription of dictated medical notes for outpatient clinic, outpatient Plastic Surgery, and aesthetic/spa services. Material transcribed will include technical medical terminology.
• Documents are dictated by many different physicians/clinicians requiring adaptation to variations in accent, speech, tone, speed, volume, delivery and pronunciation.
• Works closely with lead transcriptionist to decide which documents to transcribe first and most efficiently.
• Corresponds with medical staff and providers on dictation issues or requirements needed for appropriate notes.
• Resolves discrepancies in regards to missing or incomplete information on a specific document.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.50 per hour
