SalaryAffiliated Dermatologists, S.C. is looking for a talented, experienced, professional transcriptionist to join our medical transcription team on a full-time or part-time basis. We provide exceptional, personalized care to our patients by fostering strong relationships.
The chief functions are:
Transcribe medical dictation to provide a permanent record of patient care. These include progress notes, pathology reports, correspondences, etc.
Apply knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and English language rules to the transcriptions and proofreading of medical dictation from physicians
Recognize, interpret and evaluate inconsistencies, discrepancies, and inaccuracies in medical dictation, and appropriately edit, revise, and clarify them without altering the meaning of the dictation or changing the physicians’ style
Clarify dictation which is unclear or incomplete, seeking assistance as necessary
Meet quality and productivity standards and deadlines established by management
Format and print reports according to established guidelines
Generate medical reports from written Patient Encounter Summary Forms
Provide administrative/clerical/technical support as needed and as assigned'
