A Medical Lab in Bay City, MI is currently seeking to add a full-time Medical Technologist to join their team full time!Check out the details below:
Title:Medical Technologist.
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Hematology/Oncology
Location: Bay City, MI.
Schedule: Full-Time Nights (M-F, 10:30p - 7a)
Pay: $28.33 - $42.50/hr, based on experience and education.
The Medical Technologist duties to include but not be limited to:
-Determines normal and abnormal components of body fluids by conducting chemical analyses of blood, urine, spinal fluids, and gastric juices.
-Processes, reads, and reports cultures from various sources as well as antibiotic sensitivities and other microbiology procedures
-Recognizes problems, identifies the cause, and implements solutions where appropriate
-Performs other related duties as required and directed
REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Medical Technology or related field.
-MT certified or MLS certified.
-New Grads are welcomed, but must be ASCP eligible.
-MLT's are welcomed, but must be ASCP certified.
