OverviewQualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of clinical lab procedures

Licensure/Registration/Certification:

• Registry eligible
• MT(ASCP), MT(AMT), MLS(ASCP), MLS(AMT), CS(ASCP), C(ASCP), MLT(FBCLP) or specialist ASCP approved certification required within one year of employment*  (interchangeable certifications)

Desired Qualifications:

• B.S. Degree in Medical Technology
• B.S. Degree in a biological science

• MT (ASCP), MT(AMT)

Responsibilities

Utilizes professional application of the principles, theories and techniques of Medical Technology to provide accurate and reliable laboratory test results to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
